Hello all.

Just got back from several hours of birding around northern Anne Arundel
County. I found first-of-year Eastern Wood-Pewee and Blue Grosbeak as well
as a good number of thrushes today, a Scarlet Tanager and a Hooded
Warbler. Not bad.

The 'trash trail' that I mention is really something, I've been birding that area
for years and it's always an adventure. Tonight, someone was shooting what
sounded like a large-bore shotgun at something metal (perhaps a disused
appliance) and it made an incredible sound. Typical night in north county.
