As others have reported, the American Bittern and Glossy Ibis were very cooperative this gray Saturday morning at Hughes Hollow during our late morning walk. Thanks to the folks who told us where to look for them.

The other highlights were a male Blackpoll Warbler at nearly eye level in low willows near the sign at the junction where the two levies meet and lots of Baltimore and Orchard Orioles, including two Baltimore Orioles building nests.

A complete list from e-Bird follows.
