Hello all.

Northern Anne Arundel County was buzzing with bird activity this morning. I
had the pleasure of observing foraging Least Terns at the Brandon Woods
pond (they are nesting on the roof of the FILA warehouse across the street
from the pond for the 4th year in a row). There were at least 8 of them seen
today.

Also had 10 species of warblers at the Chestnut Hill Cove-North County Land
Trust area between Fort Smallwood and Nabbs Creek Roads. Highlights of this
bunch were single male Blackburnian and Hooded along with two Chestnut-
sided Warblers...not often seen or heard around here. Lots of other neotrops,
too. Big 'miss' of the day was Great-crested Flycatcher.
