I spent an hour at McKeldin area of Patapsco Valley SP this morning, 9:00 to 10:00am. Mostly in the parking lot area near the Tall Poplar Trail. Thanks to Ben Weinstein's info I was able to spot my first ever BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLER! (a bird I have heard, but had heretofore eluded my binocs)

The trees within 50 feet of the parking lot were LOADED with warblers! Including:

AMERICAN REDSTART (great look a first-year male doing his prototypical redstart "dance")
BLACK-THROATED BLUE (heard only)
BLACK-THROTED GREEN (many singing! got some looks at one male)
MAGNOLIA (nice looks at a lovely bright male)
CERULEAN (heard a few, saw one)
BLACK AND WHITE (great close up!)
NORTHERN PARULA
OVEN BIRD
