As I was prying my eyes open after a night out with the girls, I was hearing all sorts of fun bird noises outside.  Of course the trees at my house are totally leafed out, so I was birding by ear and hoping to lure some birds closer by pishing.
   
  I could hear plenty of Black-throated Blues, Parulas, and Blackpolls.  However, after 10-20 minutes of pishing I only lured in a few very curious Parulas and a hundred or so Yellow-rumps.  Their spring song always confuses me, so all those unidentified noises I'm hearing are probably the YRs.  After not doing much in the way of spring birding over the last few years due to school, my spring birding ear is totally rusty.
