Hi All,

The Kent County Bird Club will hold a field trip to the private Andelot
Farm west of Worton on Chesapeake Bay led by Dr. Wayne Bell on Sunday 20
May. Andelot is a varied property bordered by Still Pond Creek to the
north and Worton Creek to the south. Habitat features include a bit of
everything with small marshes, swampy woods, bay beach and bluff,
fields, and large woodlots. The location is excellent for putting
together a long list of bird species. Specialties of the house include
Pileated Woodpecker, Wild Turkey, four vireo species, Ovenbird and other
forest warblers, Grasshopper Sparrow, and, possibly, Prairie Warbler.

We will meet at the Dollar General Store in Chestertown between MD-213
and Philosopher's Terrace east of the traffic lights at Spring Street
and Md-213 at 7:00 AM. This will be an half day trip. Be sure to wear
good walking shoes. The forecast implies we won't need rain gear, but
that is subject to change at this remove. We hope to see many of you there.

Good birding,

Walter Ellison & Nancy Martin
