Is there anyone out there who has experience with
Lyme Disease and doctors who don't seem to think
it's real?

My daughter Alexandra (now 14) had Lyme Disease when
she was seven. We now have what is either a recurrence or
a new bite. It seems that there are no long-term antibodies
present, so our doctor says it must be a new bite.

She's had two month's of antibiotic and is still having symptoms:
Swelling of the neck, joint pain, muscle pain, sore throat, trouble
swallowing, extreme fatigue, chest pain, irregular heartbeat.

Our doctor seems to be in the group of doctors whose attitude is:
"look, you've had the antibiotic, now anything else must be in
your head. Believe you're going to get well and you will. And don't
bother me." He didn't exactly say that but that is how it feels.

I called for an appointment today, and was told the doctor will call.
The nurse said that there were no appts. available, but I am wondering
if the doctor has a notation on our account saying not to make appts.
for these symptoms.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
