Suffering from Atlas withrawal? Want to try something new?

The second annual Howard County Dragonfly Count is on Saturday June 16.
Last year we had participants from six counties, and everyone I talked
to said they enjoyed it. Over half the participants were birders. You
don't need to know anything about dragonflies to participate. There will
be 5 groups of people out counting, and each group will have an
experienced leader.

The format is similar to the MOS bird counts. Each group will have its
own meeting place and time, since the groups will be covering different
parts of the county. Therefore you need to sign up in advance so you
know what group you're in and the group leader can contact you. By the
way, you may recognize the names of some of the group leaders:
Area 1 (west county) - Bob Ringler
Area 2 (north) - June Tveekrem
Area 3 (central) - Sue Muller & Ken Clayton
Area 4 (south) - Bob Solem
Area 5 (east) - Jo Solem

For details, visit http://southernspreadwing.com/count2007.html

I'm the overall coordinator, so to sign up or for more information
contact me at the address shown on the web page or reply to this email.

Look forward to seeing you there.
