I've been visiting Lake Artemesia in College Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays
now for the last month or so.  One or two male Ruddy Ducks have been present
most times.  A lone male was snoozing on the lake this morning at 6:30.  He
seems to be lingering just a bit.  If you want see a Ruddy in full
breeding/alternate plumage, here's a great opportunity.

I also saw a male Wood Duck.  Otherwise, I saw or heard usual suspects. 
There are at least 10 Purple Martins occupying the martin house.
