This Saturday, June 2, will be the Elk Neck State Forest bird walk. We
will meet in the maintenance area parking lot just off Irishtown Road at
7:00 am. Wear boots & bring insect repellent. This will be a half day
trip. This trip usually yields lots of forest type neotropical migrants
including: Worm-eating Warbler, Ovenbird, Hooded Warbler, Black&White
Warbler, Acadian Flycatcher, vireos, etc.

Directions: From I95, take Exit 100 south crossing Route 40 through
North East. Just south of North East turn left onto Irishtown Road
(across from the VFW.) About 3 miles past the turn is an open field on
the right. Slow down. The entrance is on the left and hard to spot if
your driving like an idiot. Turn left into the entrance, than another
quick left into the maintenance area.

Parke.
