On Saturday evening Marcia Watson and I went birding-by-ear at the Edgemere 
VFW Hall where  we attended the "Buddy Deane Committee Reunion Record Hop". 
We were accompanied by fellow birders Donna Finnegan and Marty Wright.  We 
heard records from the 1950s and early 1960s  by "The Falcons", "The 
Flamingos", "Ron Holden & The Thunderbirds", "The Penguins", and "The 
Orioles".  There was also a special stage performance by Baltimore's own 
"The Swallows", singing their tunes from the late 1940s and 1950s.

These and other bird groups really produced some great music in their day.
