Chris,

Lisa and I drove and walked all of Pea Ridge Road on
Saturday morning without finding any Henslow's. We
did see a Henslow's Sparrow less than a mile south of
the southernmost tip of Garrett County, near the
Fairfax Stone near Pierce, WV (not too far from Thomas
or Davis). Other birds we saw at this site, included
Grasshopper and Vesper Sparrow, Yellow-bellied
Sapsucker, Golden-crowned Kinglet, and 3 Myrtle
Warblers. I'm wondering if that area is in a Maryland
Breeding Bird Atlas block, as the Henslow's have been
present since 2006 or earlier.
