Hi all,
   
    This morning I birded from Shady Grove to Lake Needwood in Rockville.  Plenty of summer regulars around:
   
  2 Blue gray gnatcatchers
  1 Scarlet Tanager (heard)
  1 Yellow billed Cuckoo (heard)
  1-2 Prairie Warblers
  1 White eyed Vireo
  1 Red eyed Vireo
  1 Red shouldered Hawk
  2-3 Common Crows
  1 Killdeer
  2 Great Blue Herons
  2 Indigo Buntings
  3 Mallards + 6 ducklings
  2 Wood duck hens + 9 ducklings
  1 Song Sparrow
  2 Eastern Blue birds
  1 Black Vulture
  2 Barn Swallows
  1 Tree Swallow
  1 Rough winged Swallow
  40 - 50 Canada Geese
  Catbirds, Robins, Starlings, Cowbirds Grackles ...
