Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to mention a few observations around the house today. Leaving for work this morning, I heard an unexpected BLACKPOLL WARBLER singing in our front yard. After work, I went for a run through Weinberg Park, noting only the most expected breeding birds: numerous Red-eyed Vireos, Eastern Wood-Pewees, and a couple Great Crested Flycatchers. Relaxing in the back yard over dinner, a parent chickadee brought its first brood of two fledged young to our feeders. Soon afterward, an adult LITTLE BLUE HERON flew over the house.

Good birding,

Bill
