The new MOS listserv is up and running.  This listserv, a MOS
members-only list, is to be used for MOS business, announcements,
meeting/field trip dates and changes, best practices, and any other
MOS news that is appropriate.  Please remember that MDOsprey is still
the place to report sightings and discuss birds, bird habitat
conservation, and birding in the State of Maryland and in the District
of Columbia.

Howard Lefkowitz has graciously agreed to be the administrator and is
ready to sign you up.  Members can go to the following web page to

Howard will approve you as a member, and you will start getting posts.
Board members have had the opportunity to sign on already to shake out
the system, but traffic so far has been light (you haven't missed
