Yesterday afternoon I was surprised to see a Ring-necked Duck at Wilde 
Lake (Columbia, Howard County). It moved to different parts of the lake 
when the mallards did, but kept away from them and didn't mingle.

I don't know how long it's been there, as I've been out of town.
