Hello All,
Are the grounds at Woodend Mansion open to the public at early hours, this
Sunday in particular? Weather permitting, I would like to try for the
mourning warbler.

Bill

A Mourning Warbler identified by Mark England has been sighted at Woodend at
various times today, starting at this morning's bird walk. It is striking
male and has been seen most frequently from the path and in the area around
the field of dogbane that drops down toward the stream from the back (south)
side of the main building. He has been heard singing from trees and bushes
at either side of the top of that main path, also seems to like to disappear
into the dogbane and go completely silent.
