This evening at 8:00PM, I observed a single Common Tern at Little
Meadows Lake in Garrett, Co. just off I-68 Exit 22. This bird seemed
quite "content" perched amid a group of rocks on the south end of the
lake. Is this a common sighting for Garrett, Co. (especially this time
of year)? Also, one female Red-breasted Merganser was present at the
lake.
