I have a raccoon problem, too, but it doesn't just empty the feeders. It
knocks them to the ground (sometimes breaking them) and chews off the bee
guards to get to the sugar water better. That's why I didn't suggest that.

My hummer activity has really picked up in the last 3 days. I am seeing
about 12 at a time now.
