Audubon survey - online Q and A

	Greetings:  Most everyone has now heard about the National Audubon Society's recent survey that shows a shocking decline in populations of common birds, many of which are well-known in the Maryland-DC area. They include Northern Bobwhite, Greater Scaup, Field Sparrow, Eastern Meadowlark and, sadly, many others.

	McClatchy Newspapers, whom I work for, is sponsoring an on-line Q and A (it's not a live chat) this week about the study. Taking questions will be Dr. Ken Rosenberg, director of Bird Conservation Science at the Cornell Lab. I'll try to  answer any questions that come up about news media coverage of nature and the environment.
