I did a little birding this morning around Queenstown and Kent
Narrows area most noteworthy birds 1 Brown pelican seen across the marsh
while driving into horsehead or CBEC AKA Chesapeake Bay Eivronmental
center it was a ways off over Prospect Bay diving a scope bird if there
ever was one . Not much here deer flies on the trail will carry you
away. Also Lake Knapp Bone dry . Construction on a new building also in
progress . Kent Narrows 1 adult Black Crowned Night Heron mid
morning had a stick in its bill hoping tree limb to tree limb as if
looking for a place to make a nest at the pond Across from the Remax
office. A late nesting or repair to a nest. Also lots of Least Terns
adults and immatures .

Happy Weekend Birding
