Sue,
The visitor center for Antietam National Battlefield lies off a loop road
off of Hwy 65 called Dunker Church Rd. At the north end of this road, where
it makes a wedge with Hwy 65, is a red brick house in which yard the bird
has been seen many times. I believe the home owner is Marvin Jameson, with
whom Elliot Kirschbaum, Elaine and I had a very pleasant conversation a
couple weeks ago. When we were there the Dickcissel favored the top of the
tall tree in the wedge. There is a pull off where more than one car can
park. If not in the yard, look in the nearby battlefield property.
