I went with one of my sons to Hughes Hollow this evening to see if the rain had brought out many amphibians.  We checked the impoundments for birds.  We found a NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH on the main dike.  The previously reported Semipalmated Sandplover was still on the flats in the main impoundment.
