Hi Everybody,

I am putting on my Atlas Coordinator's hat on to give you all advance 
warning that the Patuxent Wildlife Research Center database manager and 
I have decided to close data entry for the Maryland/DC breeding bird 
atlas as of Sunday 30 September. Official data collection for the atlas 
ended in late December 2006, but we decided to give observers an 
extended period to tidy-up any last minute data entry and review before 
cutting off access.

If any data come to light after 30 September that ought to be added to 
the database, please send them to me (contact info is in my signature 
below) and I will send the information to the database manager.

You can make Excel spreadsheets, or print out reports, of your compiled 
contributions and hours at the Patuxent MD/DC atlas site after logging 
into the "My Atlas View" page and clicking the "full details" link at 
the bottom of the contribution summary on the right hand side of the 
page. The "Save a copy" menu is at the bottom right of the "My 
Contributions" page.

If you are experiencing atlas withdrawal there is still an opportunity 
to do field work in Pennsylvania and Delaware.
