Barry and I had to leave early, and it was (compared to Saturday) rather a dull day weather-wise s not as conducive to having the birds concentrated at edges in feeding flocks. However to add to Gary's list, we saw Blue-winged (1), Canada (1) and two Redstarts, at Ridge plus some different Red-eyed Vireos and a couple or four Orioles. Also quite a few House Wrens which, although local breeders, do start to move out about now so these may have been migrants.

We second what Gary said about deer damage, however the park has been removing a lot of invasive plants and the threat from Burdock (trapping hummers) and some other invasives seems not as bad. It is all very dry however, so I would not be surprised that Rock Creek has a "drinking area" which migrants favor -- if we could only locate it!
