With apologies for the late post...

Lisa and I did a late-morning walk around Fort Smallwood Park in AA County on Sunday before the heavier rain set in.

Highlight was the still-present TRICOLORED HERON in the large pond (a new County bird!!) The pond also held a Little Blue Heron, and 6-8 Snowy Egrets, at a minimum. We also had a pair of Caspian Terns coming up the Bay.

Other species included Cedar Waxwing (3), Eastern Kingbird (3), Chipping Sparrow, Purple Martin (2). Very few birds of prey other than two Ospreys in a nest and a third guarding it. Can only assume that one of the three was an almost-grown-up baby getting ready to do its first migration...

	Good birding!
