The recent rain has changed the habitat at the "flats". Today there was 
more water, grass and less mud. The following birds were present.

Gt. Blue Heron 7
Gt. Egret 6
Killdeer 16
Greater Yellowlegs 1
Lesser Yellowlegs 6
Solitary Sandpiper 4
Spotted Sandpiper 1
Least Sandpiper 18
Pectoral Sandpiper 3

On the return trip to my car, I saw a Northern Waterthrush.
