Greeting's

I'd like piggy back on Seans report concerning yesterday's Cecil birds...

I had a Red-breasted Nuthatch in my yard (North East) in the AM. I also had what sounded like an Eurasion Collared Dove cooing in the AM; however I had NO time to chase it down to confirm... SO, I don't even know whay I mentioned it. I am in no way trying to report this bird, -just thinking out-loud that I should keep my eyes open in my hood... ;-)

On the Susquahanna Flats (SF) and on the North East River (NER) I had the following birds, in the PM:
SF:
Forster's Tern (15)
Caspian Tern (5)
Ring-billed Gull (30)
Laughing Gull (15)
D-c Cormorant (20)
Osprey (12)

NER:
Forster's tern (10)
Least Tern (2)
Ring-billed gull (100+)
Herring Gull (15)
Great Black-backed Gull (10)
Laughing Gull (30)
D-c Cormorant (15)
Osprey (50+)
Bald Eagle (2)
G-b Heron (10)

Good Birding,
Chris Starling
