Hi All just a quick note to report my visits to the sod Farm farm near
Queenstown . I had not posted about it before as others have been
doing a good job updating everyone . Up untill this past week not much
has been happing there just killdeer and Horned Larks . With last
Tuesdays 8 - 21 - 07 rain I decided to make a check there for
shorebirds on my way home from a trip out to Poplar Island in Talbot
County . As luck would have it there were shorebirds there including
one Buff Breasted Sandpiper. upon arriving Home I called Les Roslund
about it to post the info for me as I knew I could not post till latter
Wedsday afternoon . My thanks to you Les For post about it . Also thanks
for the look at the Baird's through your scope on Friday . Its been
nice to meet you new people and old friends out the sod farm as well.

As others mentioned there were model rockets being fired and a model
plane being flown and all this kept the birds in the back hard to see .
The loud noise scaring the birds to fly, circle then land again .
During one such firing of a rocket and One Matt Halfner being presant he
saw one Baird's in flight .
Happy Birding
