Spured on by a Canada Warbler in the yard this morning, I headed over to Mt
Aetna Camp on Mt. Aetna Rd. As I drove up there was an Osprey on a snag by
the pond. I watched for a while as it circled and bathed. Over the next
twenty minutes I had 3 Broad-winged Hawks, 2 Red-tailed Hawks, another
Osprey and several Black and Turkey Vultures come over. Things were
otherwise dead, spished up another Canada Warbler but nothing else. On the
way back to the car I decided to walk around for a little while longer which
proved to be a good idea, I left 2 hours later.
