Greetings,

This afternoon I stopped by the Perryville Community Park to scope the Susquehanna Flats for Black Terns. I scanned the area without about of 110 degrees of clearance between the trees 6 or 7 times. My highest north to south count was 25 Black Terns! These out numbered Forster's terns at least 5 to 1... I Also had 1 Caspian Tern. Other birds included 45 Great-ble Heron 50-75 Canada Geese, 50 or so duck sp. 11 Bald Eagles, a few Ospreys, 20 or so D-c Cormorants, and 8 Pied Billed Grebes. Furthermore, the far reaches of "scopable" aqua-habitat into Furnace Bay yeilded 7 more Eagles, a Great Egret, and at least 1 Am. Black Duck.

Of note as well, were at least FIFTY Eastern Kingbirds chillin in the park this afternoon....

Good birding,
Chris Starling
