The bird was still present when I left at 4PM. Barbara and Phil Davis were there. The bird was actively feeding on the perimeter of and inside the corral. Judging by the amount of food it consumed during the hour I was there it is either stoked up to make a long flight or too heavy to move more than fifty yards.
   Thanks to Dave Czaplak for finding and reporting the bird. Thanks to Dave Powell and Gemma Radko who phoned me this morning though I was in the field and unable to go until this afternoon.
