Today while volunteering at Shad Landing I saw the following birds. 
*1 Philadelphia Vireo ( first heard then saw near the pond. ) a  rare bird 
for Worcester County
4 Red Eyed Vireos ( Was able to hear and see the two Species of vireos  
together. The Phiadelphias voice was higher pitched and slower then the Red  Eyes. 
In appearances the Philadelphia had a yellow breast and smaller  beak then the 
Red eyed. ) 
6 Pine Warblers
1 American Redstart 
2 Bald Eagles
12 American Goldfinches
15 Brown Headed Nuthatches 
10 Ruby Throated Humming birds
1 White Eyed Vireo 
2 Yellow Billed Cuckoos
1 Black Billed Cuckoo
1 Eastern Phoebe
1 Eastern Wood Pewee
5 Pileated Woodpeckers 
13 Carolina Chickadees 
9 Tufted Titmice 
20 Purple Martins ( migrating )
2 Belted Kingfishers
14 Brown Thrashers
12 Blue Gray Gnatcatchers 
20 American Robins 
5 Eastern Bluebirds
25 Cedar Waxwings
3 Palm Warblers
1 Black and white warbler
13 Yellow Rumped Warblers
2 Scarlet Tanagers 
5 Blue Grosbeaks
29 Chipping Sparrows
50 Boat tailed and Common Grackles ( flying southwest ) 
 
Starting last Tuesday I noticed Grackles, Redwing Blackbirds, Bobolinks and  
Purple Martins congregating around the east shore of the  Chesapeake Bay ready
