I birded in Worcester all day on Sunday, 9/2. Small flight at Bayside (e.g. 20 redstarts) despite N-ish winds. Nothing of note.
Day's highlights were 3 Upland Sandpipers at the OC Airport, and (drum roll) finally my county Buff-breasted Sandpiper at the relatively new turf farm the extends from the intersection of Tull, Ebenezer and Blueberry Roads (here after the "Tull Road Turf Farm" (name by Jim Brighton). #356 in Worcester for me.
Buff-breast was in series of fields along Tull Road (to the east) and the south. Moved around a bit (flew way off into the distance at one point only to return).
