Hello all.

I spent about 3 hours at Lake Shore Athletic Complex (Pasadena area) this 
morning. Highlights included 1 Veery found in an un-Veery-ish location, good 
Vireo numbers and 7 warbler species including a really nice Canada Warbler.  
Also, a good number of Chipping Sparrows were foraging in the athletic fields.

Ruby-throated Hummingbird: 1

American Robin: 50+
Wood Thrush: 1 Wooded edge by old horse trail area
VEERY: 1 Wooded lot near park entrance

Blue-gray Gnatcatcher: 5  All in the same area
Carolina Wren: 5
House Wren: 1  
European Starling: 80+
White-eyed Vireo: 8
Red-eyed Vireo: 3
Great-crested Flycatcher: 3
Black-throated Blue Warbler: 1 male in the lower wooded area
CANADA WARBLER: 1  adult in hilltop wooded area
Magnolia Warbler: 3
Black-and-white Warbler: 2 males
American Redstart: 6  Two were adult males, the rest a mix of subadults and 
females
