Greetings,

Just thought I'd take a second to post some casual observation which I have
made in the past couple of days (I know some of you guys like to keep score -
I am grateful for this, BTW)....

On Sunday, during a family boat outing which took us from the Aberdeen Creek
on the South River in Anne Arundel County to the City of Annapolis Harbor I
had two Black Tern flybys. The first occurred in the harbor near the soccer
fields at the US Naval Academy. The second one was on the Bay proper near
the Thomas Point Lighthouse. Both notes were made within AA county waters.

Yesterday, I had one Red-breasted Nuthatch calling from my mother-in-laws
yard south of the town of North East in Cecil County.

RFI:
Finally, at the end of next week my wife and I are traveling San Diego to
embark on a cruise of the Baja peninsula. Can anyone provide insight to birding
areas (VERY) near to San Diego and/or Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas. As well
Southern Cali Pelagic info would be beneficial too... Please respond to me

Good birding,
