Thanks to Paul O'Brien for posting his message this morning about the continuing American Golden Plover at the Hughes Rd polo grounds this morning.  At one point it was less than 100 feet from me.  Also present were 70 Killdeer, a singing Blue Grosbeak, and one croaking Common Raven was soaring with some Turkey Vultures.  

A detour to Hughes Hollow before I returned to my office produced 3 Lesser Yellowlegs, a Killdeer, 2 Great Egrets, several Wood Ducks, and a female / eclipse male Blue-winged Teal.
