The Olive-sided Flycatcher remains in the Maintenance Yard. It was
spotted by Stephanie Jowdie around 8:15AM. For about than 45 minutes
birders in the yard enjoyed watching the Flycatcher move from snag to
snag at the east end of the Yard. It was still there when I and
others left.
There was little warbler activity this morning---female Black-
throated Blue, Black-and-white, Northern Parula. In addition there
were sightings of Scarlet Tanagers, Baltimore Orioles, White-breasted
Nuthatchers and a Sharp-shinned Hawk fly-by. Numerous Grackles are
on the move.
