This afternoon at Violette's Lock I watched two people in a rowboat tugging 
on something entangled in the watergrass in the middle of the river. They 
pulled out a recently dead adult Bald Eagle. I imagine it was one of the pair that 
raised young this year and last at VIolette's Lock. A shame.
