Sat, 15 Sep 2007 (Montgomery County):
In addition to the Sanderling and Forster's Terns at Violette's Lock
reported to MDOsprey by Dave Czaplak, Jonathan Alderfer and I saw the
previously reported immature Little Blue Heron at Blue Mash; our early
morning at Battery Kemble (DC) yielded relatively few migrants, although
one small, loose flock included 2 Wilson's Wrablers;

Sun, 16 Sep 2007 (Calvert County):
Most notable birds from a day spent at Various locations for the Fall

starting just before sunrise: a calling Virginia Rail; 3 species of
nuthatch: 2 Red-Breasted; 4 White-Breasted; 6 Brown-Headed;  Palm
Warbler;

from nearly 5 hours spent at Flag Ponds Park: a juvenile Black-Bellied
Plover on the beach (only oter shorebirds present were 5 Least
Sandpipers); an Olive-Sided Flycatcher between Duncan's Pond and the
North Ridge Trail; LEast Flycatcher; a Philadelphia Vireo in a small
flock of migrant warblers; 2 Ruby-Crowned Kinglets;

the previously reported male Black Scoter at the N end of North Beach
