I arrived there a bit later than usual, about 7:45, and ran into John 
Stup just as he was preparing to leave.  Fortunately, right on MD121, 
between the bridge and the parking lot, we encountered a nice flock of 
birds before he left.  The best bird, seen in the same place but right 
after John left, was probably an immature Yellow-breasted Sapsucker. 
Although I've seen a couple of others in late September, this was my 
earliest ever.  Later, saw my FoY Red-breasted Nuthatch.  List is below.
