In case you didn't notice it deep in Kevin's list, we saw our first
Juncos of the season on the Sunday morning (Sep 23) walk at Cylburn
Arboretum in north Baltimore city. They often show up early here. Also
we saw my first Palm Warbler of the season, and a late Yellow-breasted
Chat, well seen by some. I noticed back home in the Yellow Book* that
although the bulk of chats leave the area quite early, a solid thin
line extends through November. Seven warbler species was our high for
the season so far.
