Hi Everyone,

I traveled to Assateague Monday for the morning flight at Bayside. The flight was reasonable, though I missed many birds. Here are the ones I identified. Unidentified, at least 60-70, probably more.

Nashville Warbler, N. Parula, BTB, Blackpoll, Cape May, Wilson's, Black and White, Redstarts, C. Yellowthroat, Prairie, Magnolia, Palm (Westerns). Other birds seen, RB Grosbeak, RB Nuthatch, Philly Vireo, Merlin.

At Powellville Lake in Wicomico County, I found a Northern Waterthrush.

Today I birded Wicomico and Dorchester counties, there were fewer migrants and birding slowed considerably as it became hot. Best bird was a Nashville Warbler which I believe to be the Western subspecies ridgwayi. I found the bird in Dorchester County in a sunflower field next to a hedgeline. Gave me great looks, the back was also much grayer and was constantly pumping its tail the entire time in view, which was several minutes.
