Wow.. clearly I've been living in the boonies now for too long.  I haven't
seen this kind of excitement since the "Northern Lapwing Follies" of a few
years ago.

Seriously, I would, as a sometime nature photographer of butterflies, have
to agree that the photo contest is a bad idea.
