hello all

yesterday, a gang of 4 from Central PA ventured down to Maryland to
see how the birding was in BWNWR. I was joined by Aden Troyer,
Gideon Renno and Chuck Bertroud. Google estimated the distance one
way was 210 miles.

This was my 2nd trip down there, with the first being 4/1 of this
year. I was disappointed with how low the water was and where it was
dried up. It seems that you are getting as little of rainfall as we
are up here.

We started off the trip pulling into the Visitors center, made the
loop, took all of the footpaths, ventured further south to Hoopers
Island, then headed north back home. The biggest miss was the
American White Pelicans that we weren't able to find anywhere, even
some spots where others had emailed me back with my request a few weeks ago.

I personally got 77 species for the day with an extra one being a
Empid species that we just weren't able to ID. Our group list turned
out to be over 80.

my list is as follows, in order of the AVISYS birding program
