We had a sparkling day in the Maintenance Yard---blue sky, bright
sunshine and pleasant temperature. The birding has picked up much
more today than yesterday, when only a Palm and Redstart were seen.
Today's noteworthy birds are as follows:

Palm Warbler
Black-throat Blue Warbler (fem.)
American Redstart
Black-and-white Warbler
Ovenbird (at Yard entrance)
Lincoln Sparrow
White-throated Sparrow
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (also at the Ridge)
Hermit Thrush
Junco
Eastern Phoebe, Towhee, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, and many Jays,
Nuthatches, Red-bellied Woodpeckers and Flickers

Observers: Jim Lemert, Bay Cooper, Dan Eberly, Sally Wechsler,
Marjorie Raclin, Jennifer Jowdie, John Stinson, Kent and Marcia
Minichiello

Have Fun birding!
