A great morning to be chilled and then feel the warmth of the sun as it
first hits you.

I spent some time in the yard this morning observing the birds. Ruby
Crowned Kinglets were bathing in the dew on the leaves. Two Sapsuckers were
pounding on the walnut trees. Blue Jays and Flickers appeared to be
everywhere. The Mocking Birds, Carolina Wrens, Red-breasted Nuthatches,
Carolina Chickadees and Titmice were exceptionally vocal. Crows were
mobbing something until the hawk flew. Other birds of note:

    Wood Thrush - 1
Red Breasted Nuthatch - 4 and maybe as many as 6
    White breasted Nuthatch -1
    Field Sparrow -1
    White Crowned Sparrow - 2
    White Throated Sparrow - several
    Chipping Sparrow - many
Dark eyed Junco - more coming in each morning
    Yellow rumped warblers - several
    Phoebee - 2
Killdeer - 2 making quite a ruckus flying around and calling

Enjoy!
