The Howard County Bird Club conducted a Hawk Watch at Meadowbrook Park,
Ellicott City, Howard County, on October 20, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.,
with some folks wandering about the park before the count. A total of 13
people dropped in during the day. The day dawn clear, with increasing
clouds as the day wore on. The wind was strong from the west, with
occassional chair- and scope-toppling gusts. Thanks to Kevin who kept
meticulous count of the dickey birds!
