I got out at lunch again in Williamsport. Over 300 swallow were down river and duck numbers had dropped since yesterday. When I returned after work there was a Common Merganser. After a quick stop at Dam #5, I headed up to Big Pool. Not dissapointed, I got soaking wet, 4 Common Terns, 2 Dunlin, 1 Great Egret and a lot of ducks. Yesterday's Common Tern was a first county record, long over due. Dunlin is listed in the Yellowbook with just a dot, county bird for me. 14 species of waterfowl, gotta love rainy fallout!
