To follow-up on my post from Saturday:
10/20
The Western Kingbird continued to show well all afternoon, but it was not refound on Sunday (10/21). Five pictures at: http://www.pbase.com/wcbirding/image/87720127. Late October is historically the peak time for them along the coast, but this was only my third in Worcester and my first since 1990, despite spending a bit of time down there...
The only other highlight from Saturday was a single late-ish Blue Grosbeak in Assateague Island/State Park South.
10/21
There was a nice assortment of birds at Assateague/Bayside/Point in the am, a bit of a flight. As is normal this time of year, most all were Myrtles, but with a little effort ended up with 7 species of warblers and 1 vireo: Getting late-ish for non-Myrtles (except Palm).
Blue-headed Vireo (1)
Cape May Warbler (4)
Black-throated Blue Warbler (3)
Myrtle Warbler (250)
Prairie Warbler (1)
Western Palm Warbler (2)
Blackpoll Warbler (1)
American Redstart (1)
Also, Pine Siskin (1), Purple Finch (1) and a good mix of sparrows at the point, Savannah (10), White-throat (6), Song (10) and Chipping (15). Also worked Bayside/Inland and the State Park/North area, but nothing of note.
